I’m probably the only 23-year-old in Santa Rosa without a drivers license!
But dealing with PTSD is tough!
And my gruff, perfectionist driving instructor is not helping my confidence.
He’s bossy, impatient and treats me like I’m completely stupid.
Okay, so I did jump a curb or two and I didn’t see that stop sign. But he doesn’t have to be such a grump! After all, I am trying.
It would help if this car wasn’t so small! We keep bumping elbows and knees. I can’t say I don’t like it. I mean, he is incredibly handsome.
I can’t believe I find him attractive. He’s rude and arrogant and set in his ways. But I recently got a glimpse of another side of him and I am stunned!

I try to avoid him, but it seems like we’re always bumping into each other…literally!
I didn’t appreciate that crack about being clumsy. After all, spilling that coffee wasn’t entirely my fault.
He’s way to attractive to not be a distraction. But, he’s also arrogant and cocky. Not my type at all. So why does my heart skip a beat when he’s near?
Besides, he thinks I’m a second-rate reporter and the story I’m working on is a dud.
But It’s not a dud at all. It turned out to be juicy and when I nail it, he’s going to be shocked!

I can’t believe I’m back in Montana! God, I miss New York!
It’s bad enough putting up with dust and horse manure, but that Toby Evans is intolerable!
He doesn’t get it that I’m the boss now and he’s only the ranch foreman.
We need to find a way to work together but, wow, what a challenge.
He’s stubborn and is always challenging my methods. But he looks so damned good on a horse.
I never know what he’s thinking. It’s like he’s hiding something. There’s got to be more to Toby Evans than the aloof man under the cowboy hat.

I first noticed Logan Taylor as he emerged from the ocean like a mystical Selkie.
With strength and grace, he hoisted his surfboard under his arm and stode up the beach like he owned it.
My heart skipped a beat.
I don’t believe in love at first sight, but I was definitely smitten!
He shook water off his long blonde hair and shoved the locks out of his eyes. As he passed, shot me one quick smile and then he was gone.
Who is this Adonis? Is he local? Will I see him again?
